York, UK, November 12, 2011 — In October 2011 SBL launched their new corporate website. The old website was over 8 years old so was due a refresh as the corporate identity had updated and the company had come a long way from the early 2000’s.
The key for the new website was to create a site that was clean, fresh, had a great corporate feel and introduced SBL as the forward thinking technology company that they are. SBL work predominantly in the Information Security sector – covering data security, network security, endpoint security and mobile security. SBL are also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, so specialise in Microsoft products and licensing.
The site needed to make it easy for new website visitors to understand the 6 key areas that SBL operate in; Information Security, Microsoft, Training & Consultancy, Cloud based IT services, Hardware and Software & Licensing. It was of great importance for the site to be full of call to actions, these include social share options, live chat, enquiry forms such as find out more, get a quote and even the ability to book training courses online.
Visually and functionally the site has delivered to the expectations of SBL’s senior management team. The site clearly defines what SBL do and makes the user experience a pleasant and simple one. The site architecture was devised in a way to enhance the users journey through the site and to ultimately guide them to make contact with SBL.
The site is well connected socially, encouraging users to follow SBL on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and to sign up to the newsletter for further updates. SBL are a customer centric business and have client facing teams that are structured to meet the individual client requirements – it was important to SBL that these teams had a place on the site so users understand the customer friendly approach that SBL have.
