Institute of Computer and Finance Executives announces Rs.1 crore worth of scholarships in its 4th Divya Jyoti Scholarship programme

The DJS programme will provide 100% scholarship to students, 75% reservation especially for girls and economically backward college students and graduates

The Institute of Computer and Finance Executives (ICFe), the leading provider of training for financial sector, today announced its ‘4Th Divya Jyoti Scholarship Programme’ which will offer scholarships to the meritorious and needy students worth Rs.1 crore.

Especially meant for girls and economically backward meritorious college students and graduates, keen to pursue computerized and finance course. The DJS programme is applicable for the ICFe’s ‘Certified Finance Executive, 14 month course’.

The Scholarship is available to the student on the basis of performance of marks secured in the 4th DJS examination and on the personal interview. Based on the merit ranking of the applicants, qualifying candidates will be eligible to get scholarship ranging from 25% to 100% in the total fees. The ICFe scholarship is available at all ICFe centers across the country.

ICFe imparts training in the fields of Accounting, Banking, Insurance and Financial Services. ICFe already has more then 63 centres running in the states of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and the NCR region.

Scholarship benefits are categorized according to the marks secured by the applicants. As candidates scoring 90% above marks will get 100% scholarship, students scoring 60% to 89% will get 50% scholarship and students who are scoring 45% of marks or less will be awarded 25% of scholarship.

Applicants for the scholarship have to appear for the entrance examination conducted by ICFe. The eligibility criteria for sitting in the exam for scholarship is any student who has cleared class XIIth examination and more then 18 years of age as on October 1st 2008 is eligible to apply for this scholarship.
