Intelligent InSites Appoints Mary Jagim as Chief Nursing Officer

Fargo, ND, November 16, 2011 — Intelligent InSites Inc., the leading provider of enterprise real-time location systems (RTLS) software helping hospitals improve patient satisfaction and operational performance while supporting multiple RFID and RTLS technologies, announced today the appointment of Mary Jagim to Chief Nursing Officer.

In this position, Jagim will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives driving operational effectiveness and clinical excellence. Jagim will work closely with healthcare executives and healthcare information technology leaders to establish evidence-based standards of practice, both clinical and managerial, to enable improvements in care delivery and operational efficiency.

Previously, as Intelligent InSites’ Director of Healthcare Solutions, Jagim led the development and implementation of the InSites’ Client Lifecycle Methodology™, which ensures successful enterprise implementation of RTLS/RFID projects and measurable return on investment. Leveraging her vast healthcare expertise, including serving as the national president of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), Jagim has helped many Intelligent InSites’ customers realize meaningful and sustainable improvements to their operations and outcomes.

Intelligent InSites’ customers represent leading acute care healthcare facilities, including Butler Health System, MedStar, Spectrum Health, and Texas Health Resources.

Mary Jagim brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, including nine years as manager of MeritCare Health System’s (now Sanford Health) Emergency Center, a level II Trauma Center located in Fargo, ND. Prior to joining Intelligent InSites, she was an independent consultant working with hospitals on emergency preparedness planning, emergency department operations, work flow and staffing. In 2001, serving as the national President of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), she led the development of ENA’s Key Concepts in ED Management Course and Guidelines in Emergency Department Staffing Tool. Jagim received her BS in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and is pursuing her Masters Degree in Nursing Education at North Dakota State University. She is a Certified Emergency Nurse and a Fellow in the Academy of Emergency Nursing. Jagim has also achieved Green Belt Lean Certification for Healthcare©.
