Katherine’s wish is granted

K

Canon New Zealand and the Make-A-Wish Foundation have helped make Katherine Paton’s wish for a Canon Digital SLR camera come true.

Katherine suffers from recurrent acute renal transplant rejection, but does not let her illness get in the way of her love of gymnastics and photography.

With her new Canon EOS camera, Katherine intends on being her gymnastic team’s photographer, and eventually starting her own photography website.

Make-A-Wish

Grants wishes to children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are living with life threatening medical conditions. Wishes bring magic, joy and hope to these children and their families, as well as unforgettable experiences. Make-A-Wish can’t promise a longer life or recovery but offers comfort and encouragement that hope, goals and experiences are still available.
