Resume and cover letter resource site expands portal with job listings from Oodle.
Saskatoon, SK (PressAbout) May 21, 2008 – Land That Job! today announced that the popular resume and cover letter resource site has expanded its offerings with job listings from Oodle. The move marks a dramatic expansion in content offered to job seekers.
In February, Land That Job announced that was opening up the site’s flagship product, a professional resume templates and cover letters package, for free download. The recent move to provide job postings increases the amount of valuable free resources on the site for job seekers and will be complimentary to the resume and cover letter resources.
“We want to create a complete experience for job seekers,” explains Malcolm Chlan, managing Partner of Landjob.com. “People are searching for a complete careers site that provides the essential tools and resources for job seekers. We are finding that larger traditional sites are becoming less usable as they expand their service offerings. We want to create a complete yet easy to use resource site for job seekers.”
The large addition of job postings from Oodle is the first step in a larger initiative to build out the job offerings on the site. “Oodle aggregates job postings from many large sources so it was a logical choice to use their API,” said Chlan.
