LandOrSlum.com Co-Founders to Present at Housing Panel

Pittsburgh, Pa. – LandOrSlum.com’s Co-Founders, Adam Gorzelsky and Katie Wilson, have been invited to speak at the University of Pittsburgh Housing Panel.

Held on January 16, 2008, the event will take place in the William Pitt Union Ballroom on the university’s Oakland campus at 8:30pm. The Housing Panel will include Jim Earle, the head of housing at the University of Pittsburgh, and a representative from the Oakland Planning and Development Corporation (OPDC).

“Since it is the first year for this housing panel, we sincerely hope that students take full advantage of this tremendous opportunity to learn the ins and outs of renting apartments in the Pittsburgh area,” says Gorzelsky.

The Housing Panel will be offered at no charge to all University of Pittsburgh students. Throughout the session, Gorzelsky and Wilson plan to answer student questions regarding off-campus living experiences, apartment searching, and methods for finding quality landlords and optimal living conditions.

“I am honored to participate in a panel that enables me to truly help students and renters find the resources they need to make informed decisions during their apartment searches,” says Wilson. “Renting can be a tough process, but with the right information and communication, it can turn into a rewarding experience for both tenants and landlords.”
