The digital media, creative content and production solution providers, Amstore,
have been chosen by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to manufacture environmentally friendly USB’s in order to distribute materials, as part of its project “Unite to combat climate change.” Amstore have risen to the challenge and produced UNEP branded promotional usb drives made from bamboo.

Amstores’ decision to use bamboo is based on its inherent ‘green qualities’, and its marketing impact. Bamboo, actually classed as a grass has over 1200 species and is an excellent sustainable resource as it grows in a quicker time to maturity than wood, typically absorbing 5-6 times more Co2 than traditional materials.

As a result Amstore have delivered a product that supports the brand values of UNEP not only through its appearance and physical make-up but furthermore by using renewable sources for the casings.

Marcelo Bustamente, sales director at Amstore emphasised how important this move was for them, ‘We successfully fulfilled our brief with UNEP and are very pleased with the results, this addition to our range reflects the fact that Amstore can truly create bespoke products that meet client requirements’.
