A website forum, created to encourage women to speak openly and honestly about menopause and other baby boomer issues, is now available at http://www.enjoyyourmenopause.com

Baby Boomer Author Beverly Mahone set up the Forum called “Let’s Talk” as a place where she says “women and men can go and talk about the things that concerns them. Experience is the best teacher I believe and having boomers share their journeys can help someone else.” Mahone sites a recent post from a woman in Australia who was looking for answers regarding her sporadic menstrual cycle and hot flushes. “She was apparently surfing through my website, found the forum and started writing,” according to Mahone. “A couple of other women saw her post and immediately responded. They, too, shared their personal stories. That’s what the Forum is all about.”

The author of Whatever! A Baby Boomer’s Journey Into Middle Age writes candidly about her own journey into menopause, trying to find love at middle age and the older worker-younger boss dynamics she had to deal with in the workplace. “My life has become an open book and I just want other women to know it’s O.K. to talk about the sensitive subjects because they’ll find plenty of support out here.”
