Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell Serves as Delegate to the Art of Living Foundation’s International Women’s Conference in Bangalore, India

April 2, 2014 Atlanta, GA.  February 7-9, 2014, Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell served as delegate on behalf of the Jewell Jackson McCabe Emerging Leaders Institute, Inc. to the 6th Art of Living Foundation International Women’s Conference (IWC) in Bangalore, India.  Lynita stated, “It was an honor and privilege to serve as a delegate. I was one of over 700 women – delegates, guests, and speakers – representing 60+ countries from around the world who shared in the ‘Harmony of Evolution’. We learned from dynamic speakers on a wide range of issues that included environmental sustainability, effective media communications, innovative rehabilitation techniques, and new leadership paradigms.”

The International Women’s Conference “facilitates partnership-building and leadership development among. panel discussion showcases women’s unique contributions in fostering human values, and in sustaining peace and development. The Conference also provides a global platform for women, often-key policy and decision makers, to engage in dialogue and exchange best practices. The IWC agenda focuses on two key initiatives: advancing the status of women in fragile and post-conflict states, and promoting girl child education.” Taken from the IWC website.

Lynita was so inspired and invigorated by the IWC that she is committed bringing a large group to the 2016 conference.  “It is important that we gather information from every corner of the globe to improve the lives of all in our community,” said Lynita.
