M Models and Talent is proud of Dominique C. he will be doing a North America book signing tour. The book is about an orphan with no brothers or sisters. Her mom died when she was a young teenager, leaving her to fend for herself. After years of struggling, Jennifer decides it is time to move from small town Newfoundland to the big city of Toronto, to start a new life and look for opportunities. She’s always hoped and wished for a good life and was determined to find it.
Toronto, ON, July 19, 2010 — M Models is proud to represent a talented writer and would like to share the story of Dominic C. Wrizile.
Message from the author:
My name is Dominic C. Wrizile, and I was born in Kabale, Uganda. My mother died when I was quite young so I was raised by my father as the family’s only child. In 2002, the Ugandan government accused my father of working with the Northern Resistance Army. He was imprisoned without a trial, and that was the of him. I never seen him since. I was only fourteen when he was imprisoned. I ran away, fearing the government might do something bad to me. I remember walking from morning to evening with out shoes- no eating or drinking and I found my self at the border of Rwanda and Uganda. I crossed the border as a street kid and went to Kigali, Rwanda. There I became homeless. With hope and courage, I got myself out of the street and became a refugee in Rwanda under the United Nations Commissioner for Refugees. Eventually, I learned to accept the loss of my father and moved on with my life. But anther tragedy occurred – in 2004, I was mistaken for a Ugandan spy and kidnapped by the Rwandan government. Two weeks and two days later, I was released. I went to Canada as a Refugee. I was admitted to Memorial University of Newfoundland .
When I came to a developed country like Canada where life is easier and the people are exposed to many opportunities. After realizing that there so many youth out there with no hope I started thinking of the easiest way to send a message of hope to the youth and that is when I decided to put that wisdom in book so that it can be more understood.
By looking at the synopsis of this book one may easily think that the book is about love and money but that is not the message I am trying to send. The message I am trying to send here is that “a human being without hope is like a vessel without a compass” so ladies and gentleman that is what motivated me to write this book.
