The AMTEC Consortium – which includes Amnis, the quality, innovation and productivity organisation – is delighted to have secured its place across eight categories of the UK Government’s new Management Consultancy and Accounting Services Framework Agreement, launched recently by Buying Solutions.

The latest award follows last year’s success on related ICT framework agreements and gives AMTEC a unique opportunity to provide its public sector clients with the broadest possible range of consultancy services and ICT solutions. In particular, Amnis will be providing Lean skills-related services to the health sector as part of the AMTEC Consortium.

Issued by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services, the three-year framework agreements make it quicker, easier and more convenient for customers to procure the high quality consultancy services they need, while saving them money in the process.

‘‘We are delighted that the AMTEC Consortium has been selected for inclusion in the Buying Solutions Framework,” said Amnis’ chairman, Les Pyle. “It will help consolidate our position as a leading quality, innovation and productivity organisation specialising in providing practical advice to healthcare organisations – especially in the Lean approach to effective and efficient management, providing value for money for all stakeholders including the taxpayer.”

“Amnis and AMTEC were brought together in 2006 by SHA South Central and have worked together on a number of projects where Amnis has provided change management and Lean expertise while AMTEC has provided project management and interim management support,” explained Amnis’ director, Mark Eaton.

Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services, is an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce in the Treasury. It follows a category management approach to procurement, offering a range of services covering the areas of: professional services; eProcurement solutions; energy; property solutions; office solutions, and ICT.
