Carrentals.co.uk strengthens its affiliate scheme offerings by agreeing a deal with Trade Doubler that will give affiliates 5% commission

8 June 2009 – Carrentals.co.uk, the number one car hire price comparison website in Britain, has just struck a deal with Trade Doubler to offer a new and improved 5% commission rate for affiliates as well as a sales conversion rate of 4%.

Europe’s best affiliate network, Trade Doubler, signed a new deal with Carrentals.co.uk a few months after the car hire price comparator launched its initial affiliate programme. The idea is to gain a wider interest from new businesses to become part of the affiliate scheme, which is a good way for businesses to generate new revenue streams.

Gareth Robinson, managing director of Carrentals.co.uk, states: “In today’s market, there are an increasing number of businesses that are based in the UK that are looking for innovative chances to gain another income.”

“With the sales conversion rate at Carrentals.co.uk being three times better than other companies in the industry and our affiliate scheme proving popular, we hope that by joining up with Trade Doubler and offering a 5% commission rate that many more British-based businesses will show an interest in joining our new affiliate programme.”

Carrentals.co.uk was voted Best Car Hire Website in the 2008 Travolution awards and compares prices from leading rental providers including Alamo, Budget, Holiday Autos, and Thrifty.

A Carentals.co.uk banner is the simple addition to the website of any interested parties and commission levels and tracking solutions are clearly stated. Customers simply click on the banner, which takes them straight through to the Carrentals.co.uk website to make a car hire booking.

The Trade Doubler network will run the affiliate scheme and they have brought in the expert management skills of Arctic Sunrise to manage the programme.

Keith Budden of Arctic Sunrise says: “The point of affiliate schemes is to give businesses an edge and the chance to produce an added income. The key to success is a smooth integration process followed by good management. The great products that Carrentals.co.uk offers their customers and the expertise of Trade Doubler together with a 5% commission offering will ensure a strong future for this affiliate scheme.”
