MT Media, the publisher of Whats Local Magazine and owner of numbers4life, the business telecom reseller is preparing for growth in quarter 2 of 2008 by taking an additional 1,980 square feet of modern office space by way of a 10 year lease.
MT Media was founded in July 2007 and is headed by Daniel Corby, and Hugh Craen. Daniel Corby has previously held Directorships with The Tanning Shop, Bodycare International, phones4u and IMT Group Holdings plc. Hugh Craen has previously held Directorships with a number of leading factoring and invoice finance companies, culminating in the founding and floating of Potential Finance Group plc on the AIM Markets in 2000.
Since July, M T Media has launched 12 issues of Whats Local Magazine, taking in almost 70% of the London Boroughs and the expansion plans now include the roll out of the publication to Brighton and Hove in Sussex from February 2008 with other key conurbations planned for Quarter 2.
Numbers4life has recently signed contracts as a reseller and now has 7 million telephone numbers to sell and connect, including 0800, 0808, 0844, 0845 and geographic town based numbers. Numbers4life is also based in Chelmsford, where M T Media now has 4,000 square feet of office space.
The planned expansion will include the generation of around 30 additional jobs in the coming quarters 2 and 3 of 2008.
In January 2008, M T Media Holdings Limited, the parent company of the businesses appointed one of the UK’s leading business angel networks to raise an additional £200,000 of equity to help fund the businesses growth.
