The National Sports Museum, based at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground, has won Best Website at 2009 Museums Australia Multimedia and Publication Design Awards.

The awards demonstrate the breadth of design talent across Australia and beyond and are a “wonderful opportunity to learn about and contribute to the diversity and vibrancy of the cultural sector…”

Entries were judged on their relevance of purpose, communication clarity and degree of usability. The finalists in each category were chosen to illustrate design skill, layout structure, quality photography and typography.
