MobiTMS, WoodWing Asia Pacific, to offer publishing solutions that links offline with online content for mobile media publishing

September 11, 2007. Mobile media, the latest form of mass media, is exploding and print publishers worldwide looking for a competitive edge to capture more audiences can now take advantage of this new medium.

MobiTMS, the provider of TMS, a suite of mobile internet services is teaming up with WoodWing Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd, Serious Technology Sdn Bhd to create a whole new paradigm for mass media in the 21st century.
This team of formidable international partners is merging the traditional medium of publishing with the dynamic and evolving world of digital media, to create what they call mobile media publishing and make print media interactive. The partnership will also allow traditional print publishers to instantly access more than 500 million mobile phones worldwide, which includes more than 450 phone models operating on more than 350 wireless networks, broadening their scope by leaps and bounds.

All three partners are leaders in their field. All three agree that critical steps need to be taken immediately to bridge print and online media in order to revolutionize the print publishing business.

“WoodWing is always innovating, and with expertise from Serious Technology and the industry knowledge of the Inquirer Group (publisher pilot partner), we will be able to deliver an end-to-end solution from print to online to mobile. Our clients will not only benefit from a technology point of view, in addition, MobiTMS offerings will provide them the business model to generate a new revenue stream, which was not possible in the past”, added Remco Koster, Managing Director of WoodWing Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd.

Co-founder of MobiTMS Frederick Saurat says “We have been overwhelmed by the level of interest from advertisers and media to embrace this new mobile technology. We are working quickly with our new partners to build out our Asia infrastructure to meet the exploding demand.”
