New Property Investment Opportunity – America

N

TheMoveChannel.com, the leading international property portal, announces a number of new American properties:

· House in Onondaga County (£25,300, 3 x two bed units, 38% gross annual income, fully surveyed)
· New Homes in Davenport (£200,590 to £284,650, 4 – 5 bed homes, pool, gated community)

American properties are unlikely to be an investment opportunity UK investors have considered in the past, so TheMoveChannel.com provides information on the US property market,

The name ‘Barack’ means ‘blessing,’ which is exactly what his victory means to millions of Americans, all of whom are hoping for positive change.

The USA property market needs a major dose of the feel good factor and this, it has been suggested, is exactly what the new President will bring.

Chris Wood, President Elect of the National Association of Estate Agents, (NAEA) said, “The change of President could help reverse the fortunes of America’s property market.”

He also noted that the US public feels Mr Obama’s economic polices offer hope for the future.

“I think the people of the states probably felt Obama could actually drive change through and we may well see the light at the end of the tunnel in the property market as a result,” added Mr Wood.

NAEA Chairman Peter Bolton King also said that their estate agent members across the pond in the National Association of Realtors are confident that buyers will begin to re-enter the property market once the economy has stabilised.

With the ‘Obama effect’ due to have an impact on US property prices, many experts are advising overseas buyers to get in before the market begins to rebound.

As I said in my blog, Obama’s election has brought a degree of confidence back to the market, which in time should filter through into the property market and help it onto the road to recovery.

Obama is also expected to introduce measures to help stem the vast numbers of foreclosures. ‘We’ve got to make sure that we’re helping homeowners, because the root problem here has to do with the foreclosures that are taking place all across the country,’ he said.

And, where America goes, the rest of the world usually follows, so, if the housing market starts to improve there, that should spread to property markets across the globe.
