April is Horse Fair Month. On April 18-20, 2008 The 29th Annual Midwest Horse Fair is being held in Madison, Wisconsin at the Alliant Center. The 2008 Theme is “Dancing with the Horses” . This is one of the biggest horse fairs around that brings in many breeds of horses along with vendors selling tack and just about anything to do with horses. Whether you are a horseless horse lover, new horse owner, or seasoned professional, there will be something you’ll enjoy at the Midwest Horse Fair. Meet the horses up close by touring the eight different barns. Watch the breed demonstrations in the Coliseum. Learn about the newest horse training techniques from some of the top clinicians in the country. Attend educational seminars taught by foremost equine experts. You can even shop at over 500 vendor booths for anything from gifts and crafts to saddles and horse trailers.
This year J & J Paints and Quarter Horses will be taking 2 of stallions to the horse fair. AQHA Blue Roan Stallion “Genuine McLeo” and APHA Homozygous Tobiano Stallion “Zip By Chance”.
