RES Launches Reference.MD, a Unique Medical Reference Site

Reference.MD is a new medical reference web site. Its quarter million pages feature an innovative medical concept navigator and extensive information about drugs.

Ottawa, Canada – November 6, 2007–RES Inc. announced today the launch of the beta version of a new comprehensive medical reference site, Reference.MD, aimed at health professionals and available for free without registration. With about a quarter million pages, Reference.MD organizes and cross-references all medical concepts, and introduces an interactive tree-based Medical Concept Navigator.

Reference.MD is particularly rich in information about substances having pharmacological actions, and about prescription drugs. It merges information derived from a number of medical databases, including the National Library of Medicine’s Medical Subject Headings, with drug information from the Federal Drug Administration, including reported suspected adverse drug reactions.
