RIATest.com released an updated version of its test automation tool for Adobe Flex applications. RIATest enables developers and QA professionals to automate GUI testing of Rich Internet Applications developed using Adobe Flex.
RIATest 1.5 addresses known issues from version 1.0, and implements many important new features such as support for custom components and multi-SWF and non-browser applications. Other enhancements include: improved support for AIR applications; extended automatic synchronization capabilities; new external process control features; and built-in workarounds for known Flex automation SDK bugs.
RIATest 1.5 is compatible with Flex 3 applications, but also works with Flex 2 applications, thus supporting the quality assurance processes of customers who have yet to migrate.

RIATest 1.5 adds significant value to the previous version, but remains at the same attractive price of USD$399. RIATest 1.0 users enjoy a free upgrade to the new version.
