New scheme to help key workers move to their dream home

NURSES, police officers, school teachers and other key workers now have the opportunity to move to a dream home thanks to an innovative scheme on offer from Stamford Homes.

The imaginative approach is designed to help key workers ? which include NHS frontline staff and other public sector workers ? move into their own home with the minimum of cost and maximum protection.

Under the company?s specially devised Keyworkers Package, Stamford Homes is offering a choice of incentives to those customers who are eligible.

Scheme one: an incentive known as SecurePlus which allows customers to apply for an exclusive 95 per cent mortgage through a High Street lender and at a realistic interest rate , with up to 20 per cent of your equity protected. There is only a five per cent deposit to pay and the scheme comes with 12 month?s redundancy protection and is fixed for 3 years.

Designed to help both first time buyers and home movers whose equity has diminished, the scheme gives them a genuine 95 per cent mortgage and guaranteed protection against negative equity.

Alternatively, purchasers can opt for Scheme Two: Stamford Homes will pay the average household bills for the first year, potentially saving the customer thousands of pounds. Bills covered include:
– Gas, water, electricity
– Council Tax
– Telephone
– Buildings and contents insurance
– Sky Television
– Legal expenses associated with the move

The Keyworker Package is available at all Stamford Homes? developments in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Stamford Homes regional sales and marketing director, Peter Bond said: ?This is a fabulous scheme designed to help the many people who help the community.

?Teachers, nurses, police officers, prison officers and many other key workers can find it hard to buy their own home. These key workers, especially early in their career, often decide to live in rented accommodation, believing that they are not able to afford to buy a home of their own ? or perhaps that now is not the right time to be taking on a financial commitment.?

?At Stamford Homes, we want to recognise this and help where we can to make the move as affordable as possible through a choice of incentives within this latest package.?
