Washinton, DC, September 09, 2009 — As the Government hands out hundreds of billions of dollars to shore up a failing economy, many falsely believe the governments’ pool of free grants has dried up — but government free money expert, Matthew Lesko, is not convinced.

The solution is semantics.
While government workers are voicing concerns over budget reductions, the real story is the situations are not as harrowing as they may at first appear.
As with most things in Washington, the idea of “Budget Cutting” is not exactly as clear as it may seem to everyday taxpayers. Alot of times, government officials’ budgets are not actually being subjected to radical cuts; rather, they will simply see significantly smaller increases than promised — instead of 5% growth, perhaps now only 4% will be recieved.
Alot of government policies are termed as “entitlements,” which means that those who show up and maintain eligibility, are guaranteed to get money|help|assistance}, no matter what the government’s debt level. These federal programs include Social Security, Medicare, agricultural price support and hundreds of others.
With regards to money programs that are in jeopardy of facing reduced funding increases, equilibrium can be typically available. Program managers will do everything possible to trim down extra expenses without drastically interrupting services offered. “They’ll instinctively eliminate overhead expenses before reducing the amount of money they handout,” Lesko asserts, “during past funding reductions, I’ve seen officials cancel their 800 number just to save a few dollars.”
