The European singer/songwriter Sonia Jeron is about to release her debut EP ?Tell Me Why? at The Azores Islands ? Portugal, next month in August.
Sonia Jeron will have two presentation concerts on the ?SummerJam Party?, produced by Nine Media.
The event will happen together with the Canadian headliner Craig Smart in The Azores Islands, on the August 11th (Terceira Island) and August 14th (Santa Maria Islands).
The Archipelago of the Azores is composed of nine volcanic islands situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, and is located about 1,500 km (930 mi) west of Lisbon and about 1,900 km (1,200 mi) southeast of Newfoundland.
Jeron said that ??I choose The Azores Islands because of the symbology behind it. The archipelago received its name from the goshawk, and I want to fly with my music around the world.. what better way than start in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?? She continues ??and that way I can pay tribute to all the Azoreans, who have a unique way of living and to all the immigrated Azoreans around the world. And of course The Azores Islands are described as paradise on earth and have been picked as one of the 10 Trips for this Summer, by National Geographic Traveler in 2011, so I am really looking forward to it!?
Sonia Jeron is in charge with the whole creative process of her songs. She frequently uses the help of Vitor Salgueiral with de production and Yoad Nevo for the mastering.
