Christian Living Author and Near Death Experiencer Flexes “Psychic” Muscles
Dallas, Texas – December 01, 2009 — Dr. Reece W. Manley, DD, M.Ed, MPM, prefers to be known for his award-winning Christian living books Crossing Twice and Spirit Thinking than for the strange ability of discerning the truth of a situation. The discernment, one of the Spiritual Gifts mentioned in the New Testament, ability Dr. Manley’s seems to possess however has leaked has he has helped hundreds in making the tough judgment calls in life.
“Yes, I had a near death experience which changed my life. Yes, I spent time in the heavens with the Source of all life. And, yes, I seem to be able to have the Spiritual Gift of Discernment as written about in I Corinthians 12:10. Given two or three choices or paths, I can determine the one of most benefit or the one most related to God’s will,” says the hesitant Christian living author.
Dr. Manley, however, routinely applies his gift of discernment in working with his clients in his online pastoral counseling practice. “It has become something that is as natural as waving my hand, I share insights and ideas with clients, I’m not helping them pick out the color of dress to wear to the party or anything like that.” Word, however, did reach local police which asked Dr. Manley if he had any insights into a local robbery. The police department, declining to be interviewed or identified, simply said Dr. Manley provided helpful information.
