Surviving in a Transitional Economy
Training Executives and Managers on How to Maximize Staff Resource Potential

RALEIGH, N.C. (January 22, 2009) — During these volatile economic times, organizational leaders report that investing in workforce development and empowerment is necessary to increase productivity. Research also shows that professional education can reduce workplace anxiety by increasing worker confidence and job satisfaction. To assist executives and managers in becoming effective transitional leaders, Michael Palazzo Productions, Inc. (www.michaelpalazzo.net), announces that it will host two Leadership Challenge® workshops in Nevada. The first one held in Las Vegas on Feb. 2-4, the second in Reno on Feb. 17-19.

Based on the New York Times best-selling book “The Leadership Challenge” by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner, Ph.D., this highly-interactive program will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to address contemporary issues in today’s workplace.

“This workshop provides a way to look at meaningful leadership in a fresh and comprehensive way,” says David Troupe of Boeing.

The Leadership Challenge workshop consists of:
• A facilitator-led, three-day tutorial
• The Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) assessment
• Five personal coaching sessions
• 11 weeks of online mentoring and coaching

Michael Palazzo, company founder, will serve as facilitator for this workshop. As a certified business consultant, leadership coach and mentor for staff and generational leadership development, Palazzo’s high-energy facilitation instantly engages participants. He infuses anecdotes into the three-day program from corporate America, law enforcement bureaus and non-profit organizations. This allows participants to easily experience how the skills being developed will apply to their unique work environment.

“Michael’s passionate and energetic style, coupled with materials that address contemporary leadership issues has made a lasting impression on me, and has positively influenced daily operations in my department,” says Scott Johnston, bureau chief, Nevada POST/ Professional Standards Bureau.

In comparing The Leadership Challenge to other nationally-recognized programs, Palazzo describes the workshop as “the most extensive program I have experienced to date, because of the eleven weeks of follow up.”

The registration fee is $1,195 and includes: all course materials, continental breakfast and lunch each day, and the 11-week follow up mentoring known as the Friday Fives. For more information and to register call (919) 521-4700 or visit www.michaelpalazzo.net.
