The Gathering Goddess Vintage Boutique has quickly become the go-to shop for beautiful & unique vintage since it’s opening in April. The brand, which was originally founded as an online eBay shop in 2002 by Wilma Mae, prides itself on curating a carefuully edited selection ofvintage fashion which has stood the test of time but is still modernand fresh without being kitsch. The passion for the garments extends to the care and presentation with each piece passing through the 5-step DALIR process before being displayed on the shop floor.

* D is for DEEP FREEZE (This is the most eco-friendly way to kill any nasty moth eggs or other creepy crawlies)
* A is for AUTHENTICATE (With the advent of ‘vintage-inspired’ on the high street we ensure that each item is truly vintage)
* L is for LAUNDER (We clean every single item whether by hand, machine, or specialist dry clean)
* I is for INSPECT (We check every garment for damage or wear and tear)
* R is for REPAIR (Where possible/appropriate we repair and restore our garments on site. Occasionally we have to refashion a piece but we always let you know)

With our dedication to create unique platforms to showcase our favoruite London brands, we have teamed up with The Gathering Goddesses they open their doors on the eve of the Olympics, transforming the former HSBC bank building in the heart of West London’s Portobello Roadinto a vintage style seekers pop-up outlet from 23rd July for four weeks.
Far beyond a traditional retail space, The Gathering Goddess vintage pop-up outlet will feature a wide selection of discounted pieces up to 50% along side new stock. MissCittyKitty will also be supporting a series of evening events hosted by vintage experts and enthusisasts providing educational talks on the importance of garment history, understanding what makes a piece vintage, how to value vintage and advice on garment restoration, moth care and maintenance. One of the pop-up highlights will be the personal shopping service featuring several leading, up-and-coming stylists in the fashion industry. Whether finding the right vintage dress shape to suit you or looking for that special garment for an upcoming event, our Personal Shoppers will be on hand to curate a selection of beautiful and suitable garments that will look stunning. With lavishly draped dressing rooms and champagne on hand while you try on your 1950’s dress, Pop-ups have definitely had a makeover!
Launch Party!
We will be launching our Pop-up shop in style with a celebrity attended party on Wednesday July 25th from 7pm at the pop-up shop address:152-154 Portobello Road W11 2EA (Old HSBC bank, corner of ColvilleTerrace) Come join us for some home spun tunes from our resident DJ,lots of bubbly and nibbles and of course some amazing vintage fashion.
