Dee Mower, President of Trivani International announced the company is using social networking application Facebook to connect under-privileged children in third world countries with their sponsors in the United States.

Springville, UT, April 16, 2010 — Leslie Deeanne Mower, President of Trivani International (http://www.trivani.net/), the world’s first purpose-driven marketing company, announced the company is using the popular social networking tool Facebook to connect sponsors with the children they support in Asia and other parts of the globe. As part of the Trivani Foundation’s new program, several hundred children in Cambodia and other countries are able to “meet up” and connect with their sponsors both directly – and in real time – over the Internet.

Trivani is a wholly unique company that uses the power and profit of network marketing to provide humanitarian relief around the world. Every Trivani distributor is encouraged to become a Child Guardian. A significant percentage of their product purchase is used to meet the physical, medical and educational needs of a child in a third world country. This Child Guardian program is so popular among Trivani distributors that his has become one of the fastest growing child sponsorship programs in the world.

The new Facebook application is one more way that Trivani is revolutionizing and uniting business and benevolence. “The old method of sending letters to sponsored children and families was time-consuming, and there was no guarantee that the sponsored person would even get the message,” says Dee Mower, President of Trivani International and the Trivani Foundation (http://www.trivanifoundation.org/) “We have set up secure Facebook accounts for children on computers at the schools we sponsor. Now they’re able to communicate with their sponsors about their lives with just a simple click of a mouse.”

The new program is just one facet of Trivani’s plan to stamp out childhood hunger and become the world’s largest child sponsorship program. (http://www.trivanifoundation.org/projects.php). The company, funded by sales of Trivani International’s eco-friendly and toxin-free products, has built a broad support network in Asia, Africa and North America. Through the foundation’s work, poverty stricken children and their families have access to low-cost surgeries, food, housing and educational opportunities. Trivani plans to expand its global relief efforts in 2010.

Jay M., a Trivani Child Guardian, says, “When I first became a child sponsor, I was worried that I would never hear anything about my child again, save a picture in the mail at Christmas. With the Facebook program, I can log in at any time, and see what’s going on with the child I sponsor.”
