Trivani International’s product packaging, which contains no phthalates, proves to be a wise investment in consumer health care protection. According to a recently released study by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, phthalate exposure could be linked to child behavioral disorders like attention deficit disorder.

Springville, UT, March 22, 2010 — Trivani International’s (www.Trivani.com) investment in the development of plastic containers which do not contain phthalates has proved a wise investment from the personal health perspective of its customers.

According to an article recently published in the Environmental Health News, by Martha Cone, “Children exposed in the womb to chemicals in cosmetics and fragrances are more likely to develop behavioral problems commonly found in children with attention deficit disorders, according to a study of New York City school-age children published Thursday. Scientists said the findings uncovered a new problem that could be related to phthalates – effects on a child’s developing brain. ‘More phthalates equaled more behavioral problems,’ said Stephanie Engel, an associate professor of preventive medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. ‘For every increase of exposure, we saw an increase in frequency and severity of the symptoms,’ including attention problems, poor conduct and aggression. The connection was only detected for the types of phthalates used in perfumes, shampoos and other personal care products, not the ones found in vinyl toys and other soft plastics.”

In September of 2009, the EPA announced their intentions to reform their outdated chemical management laws. However, Trivani is way ahead of the game. Their unique Do No Harm Philosophy™ guarantees that their personal care or nutritional products contain no known harmful ingredients and their formulas cause no known harmful reactions.

Bob Steed, CEO of Trivani International has this to say: “We take the responsibility to our customers very seriously and that is why our scientific division conducted exhaustive research into potential health issues for our products and their packaging. Then our team of scientists set out on a journey to develop solutions to these hazards. I am proud to say that our scientists have been batting one thousand.”

Lorie Harrell, a new distributor for Trivani, is quoted as saying, “As a mother of five children from ages of 3 to 16, I feel it is my responsibility to protect my children from any and all hazards. The Trivani products have given me the peace of mind that my children are receiving not only toxic free products (www.trivani.com) but the education as to what it means to live a healthy life. I am truly indebted to Trivani.”
