Lyon (France) May 12th, 2008 – Almost one year after the coming out in France of ViaFamilia, a family-oriented and unlimited photo sharing website, its publisher, ActivAge, announces the launching of the English version (http://en.viafamilia.com). So let’s find out what is ViaFamilia and how you can quickly share for free all your photos with your family members!

ViaFamilia is a free and easy-to-use website to store, sort, and quickly share all your photos online. After creating a family account, you and your family members will have a private family blog allowing you to:

• Quickly and easily upload your photos in the unlimited storage
• Leave comments, tell stories, share recipes in your private notebook
• Share a calendar to remind you all birthdays, celebrations and family events
• Chat online with your family members without installing any software

The website ViaFamilia has been designed to appeal to the whole family and even non-internet users, notably baby boomers and seniors, by offering simplified ergonomics with the most useful topics. The main purpose is to urge on all baby boomers and seniors to interact and share keepsakes with their family members.
The website ViaFamilia exists also in French, Italian versions so that all families in the world can enjoy from this service. Spanish and German versions will be soon available.

About ActivAge

ActivAge is an online services publisher, created by Franck Durandot, whose main purpose is to improve baby boomers and seniors’ well-being, adapting Internet technology to their needs and abilities.
To achieve this goal, a multidisciplinary team (psychologists, computer scientists, graphic designers, therapists…) developed new online services for the whole family. ActivAge also received in 2006 at UNESCO, the first intergenerational prize of the International Federation of Associations of the Elderly, for their work for inclusion among seniors.
