Video Conference by Saville AV in Mersey Tourism Awards

V

Saville Audio Visual provided a colourful Victorian street scene backdrop for the 2007 Mersey Tourism Awards, staged in St George’s Hall, Liverpool for an audience of 1000 diners.

The facilities included projection, lighting and sound, with live video feeds from three cameras and pre-recorded graphics and video stings supplied by the Saville Creative team. To eliminate echo and blind spots in the towering space, a carefully designed audio system was installed.

Projection was handled by 6000 lumen Sanyo XF-35 projectors operating from a gallery on the opposite side of the hall and the theatre-style set was designed to open up in the centre, with shop window projection screens on either side. The visual effect was completed by period props including decorated barrows, barrels and catering staff in Victorian costume.

Outside, Saville used CityColors architectural lighting to create a dramatic welcome for the guests.
