Women Doing Good In Their Community: Moms, Daughters of San Antonio Empowered

San Antonio, TX, February 24, 2014. Real Beauty Inside Out held it’s fair and seminar featuring I Love You But I Can’t Stand You Right Now Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Texas A & M Brooks City-Base Campus located at 2601 Louis Bauer Drive, San Antonio, TX. February is American Heart Month and while most people focus on Valentine’s Day and heart health, a deeper meaning of the awareness lies in relationships — the one you have with yourself as well as those you have with others. That’s why the health of mother daughter relationships was the focus of the day Saturday.

During the seminar and resource fair, mothers and daughters learned ways to communicate better. They were also exposed to enriching products and services. San Antonio mother, Maya Machacon and daughter, Aneisha, were happy that they attended the event. “It was fun, interesting and very moving,” said Aneisha Machacon. “It’s exactly what I thought it would be. It was very interesting and I really liked the exercises and the interactive activities we did together. I have it on Facebook, I like it and I’m going to share it with all of my friends to encourage them to come out and have the same positive experience that we had today,” said Maya Machacon. http://youtu.be/jf89b7kD4rY

Roxana Morales and her daughter Amber Morales were pleased with the seminar as well. “I would definitely recommend a mother and daughter to do this seminar. I was surprised to realize things that could be changed so our relationship can improve. It was worth it,” said Morales. http://youtu.be/yhwqRHn5MeQ

“While it is one of the most complex relationships, the mother daughter bond entails bequeathing intangibles such as emotional health, self esteem, and, subsequently, life satisfaction. That’s why this seminar is so beneficial to moms and daughters. The seminar equips mothers and daughters to handle differences and the conflict that is typical during the turbulent tween and teen years,” says Williams

Psychologist, national speaker, author, and, former Texas child bride, Dr. Williams ( http://www.treviciawilliams.com ), accomplished more of her mission to empower girls and women during her signature “I Love You, But I Can’t Stand You Right Now(TM)” healthy mother teen daughter relationship seminar she facilitated at the event. Williams shared hard-earned wisdom, real-life strategies, and, important communication skills with mothers and their teen daughters. San Antonio I.S.D., North East I.S.D., and, Southwest I.S.D. mothers and their teen daughters were invited to participate.

One of the features of the Real Beauty Inside Out Healthy Mother Daughter Relationships event is the Ambassadorship program which heightens community awareness about professionals in the area that offer enriching products, services and opportunities. Before women can attend the event to promote their products and services, they must be aligned with Real Beauty Inside Out’s mission and vision: Supporting women; Encouraging collaboration and diversity and giving everyone the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution; Giving women the knowledge, the skills, the tools, the inspiration and the motivation to make local communities more resilient; and, Helping mothers and their teen daughters have healthier relationships by supporting the event and spreading the word in their networks.

Participation in the event is a call to action. Entrepreneurial women who serve as Ambassadors also agree to support healthy mother daughter relationships and strong communities through their involvement in the event. Tisha Serrano of South Hill Designs, Monica Fuss of Arbonne, Jennifer Foley of AVA Anderson, Diana James of Dlyka, Donna Silveira of Nerium, Robyn Davis of Thirty One Gifts, Samantha Clark of Skinny Body Wraps, Rebbecca Boles of Mary Kay, Brittany Heard of State Farm, and, Keri Johnson of Charms & Lockets all agreed to be Ambassadors for the San Antonio event.
