WTCA Prepares for Expo 2010
(23 October, 2009, Hong Kong) The construction and intensive preparatory work of the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai is currently being carried out in full force. Today, the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Pavilion has sent out official invitations to begin sponsorship recruitment at a global scale for the event, and will recruit industry sponsors from all areas to participate in the World Expo.
Through its involvement in the World Expo, WTCA aims to take full advantage of the Expo stage for global science and technology, culture and economic exchanges. WTCA will also use the opportunity to demonstrate its competence and achievements and that of its members, to both China and the world. WTCA aims to achieve ‘peace and stability through trade’, a motto that it has implemented and adhered strictly to. Following its theme of ‘Economic and Trade’, the WTCA Pavilion will use high technology and modern means of presentation, combined with text, images, audio and video in an integrated display to illustrate the interlocking relationships between human, society, economy, trade development and the development process of the global trade in all ages. At the same time, the Pavilion and its members will be exposed to a series of multi-dimensional exhibitions under the Expo theme, showcasing the four facets of peoples’ lives; namely – food, clothing, living and transport.
As the leader in economic and trade, WTCA is the only economic organization with an independent Pavilion at the World Expo. WTCA will showcase sponsors’ competence and offer them trade opportunities, to help them accumulate connections of worldwide WTCs and global offices. WTCA will also lay the foundation for the thousands of World Expo participants to establish trade cooperation. The WTCA Pavilion will offer sponsors a systematic and characteristic promotion and distinct publicity campaigns at three phases of the event; before, during and after. Pavilion will stand firm in its promotion in this core idea, to provide sponsors with the most suitable and most unique promotional campaigns, while integrating various themed activities. This will enable sponsors to present themselves more distinctly in front of the 70 million visitors, at the same time create the most valuable business network.
The Shanghai World Expo 2010 is a golden opportunity for international companies and event sponsors to participate, to receive expansive publicity. It will also lay a firm foundation for the possible range of economic and trade cooperation. WTCA Pavilion will present a series of exhibitions, cultural events, seminars and exchanges similar to a full display platform, to provide world-class service to sponsors and to garner the widest publicity possible. WTCA is currently extending its warm invitation to the world’s leading companies and organizations, to welcome their participation at the colourful Expo stage, while enhancing economic ties between China and the world.
