As Commissioner, Mr. Von Raab originated Project Exodus to block the Soviet Union from stealing high technology from the United States and cracked down on illegal narcotics and other smuggling.
Mr. Von Raab?s executive experience, his financial background and his legal background position him to help support Ziklag Systems as it enlarges its product portfolio in the mobile security area.

Mr. von Raab has nearly 40 years of experience in business, the practice of law and government service. He is co-founder of Republic Risk Management and Republic Capital Access LLC, a newly founded finance company for government contractors. Mr. von Raab was Chairman.
Mr. von Raab served as United States Commissioner of Customs from 1981 to 1990. During the previous administrations, he served in senior positions in the Federal Energy Administration, Department of Commerce, and Executive Office of the President.
In the private sector Mr. von Raab has served as Vice President and Financial Consultant to New York University, a lawyer at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft and as a consultant to numerous major corporations, including J. Henry Schroder Banking Corporation.
Mr. von Raab has served on the boards of several companies, including Morphotrak (SAFRAN Group), the world?s leading biometrics company, and Singlepoint LLC, a data security company.
Mr. von Raab has had extensive experience dealing with the executive and legislative branches of the federal government, the media and foreign governments during his career.
Mr. von Raab lives in Virginia. He is married with two grown children. He is a citizen of the United States and the Republic of Ireland.
