Houston Captive Insurance Seminar Draws 100+ Attendees.
Houston, TX, June 01, 2011 — Karen Weldin Stewart, Delaware’s elected Commissioner of Insurance, was the featured guest at a Houston educational seminar and cocktail reception on March 30, 2011, held for the captive insurance industry. Joining Commissioner Stewart were members of her staff who presented at a seminar for businesses owners interested in alternative risk planning.
Commissioner Stewart added Houston to her multi-city Texas tour to serve as a panelist for the educational seminar entitled, “Own Your Own Insurance Company,” designed for middle market business owners and their advisors. The seminar was jointly sponsored by Capstone and the Institute for Captive Insurance Planning, itself an educational forum.
