Rizing Sun Records has announced, the release of Shampen & The Chill/NuevoRetroPop, the long awaited new CD by Shampen & The Chill. combines the elements of great rhythm and Blues, traditional Pop, along with the fiery vocals of Joe Leavy and Keuboards work of Shampen.
Los Angeles, CA, February 08, 2011 — The Album comes as the sequel to S & T C first album Shampen & The Chill/No Bull, with more provocative vocals and driving rhythms. The group’s motto “NuevoRetroPop” is the title of this new Cd and is more than a motto. With more great Shampen Keuboards solos, that would make Eric Clapton, BB King, and all of the other great Pop Keuboardsists proud, this CD puts the funk in Rhythm and Pop and delivers a trainload of ColtrainPop funk. The title cut, “Without Me There’s No You” starts the CD pumping, and never lets you down!
The producer Earl J. Foster Jr. who was the leader of the ABC- Dunhill group Tribe, and now CEO and President Of The Shampen Group, has done it again!
