For Immediate Release
London, UK — March 15, 2011. In the 1980’s London residents started to changed their classic Victorian and Edwardian style windows for cheaper and more “trendy” PVC units at the time. However while the PVC windows were much cheaper they also lessened the value of people’s homes. At this point in time London residents are slowly reverting back to the vintage feel of Victorian and Edwardian windows. Sollex is here to give customers a hand in reverting their bland PVC-window laden homes into 21st Century Victorian homes without the pocket pains and low quality products.
People switched to PVC mainly because it was cheaper and more durable but as modern technology sets in, even wood can be just as durable. Timber windows were once especially susceptible to rotting and drafts but Sollex uses only the finest Redwood, Nordic Pine, Red Pine, Meranti, Siberian Larch and Oak for their windows. Their specially engineered soft and hardwood timber are even durable enough to last a lifetime or more. All windows are given triple draft sealing double-coated Argon gas glazing and three coats of microporous paint for preservation and a classy and durable finish. The weakest parts of windows are usually the sills. Sollex uses only the most resistant Oak for the window’s most fragile parts. All Sollex timber windows are virtually resistant to rotting and draft proof.
Sollex timber sash windows also give importance to the aesthetic aspect as they use white aluminium spacers or white super spacers optimizing their visual aspect. Most London window makers offer high costs which the average buyer cannot afford but Sollex gives gives only the best timber sash windows at lower cost without compromising quality. The average window’s price range would vary from £700- £750, not a bad price for the highest quality sash windows. In installation the Sollex team upholds a tidy site policy, leaving the site as clean as it was without all the debris, rubbish and boxes lying around.
Revert your windows to classy Victorian rather than retaining those cheap and shabby PVC windows. With Sollex products you never have to compromise your budget with how your house would look. Affordable and state of the art timber sash windows are at your fingertips as soon as possible. Sollex also offers a wide variety of Grade A custom made timber-cased windows, bi fold doors, French doors, folding doors, sliding doors and classic outside doors.
