The talk which is titled; EMR Incorporation: Evaluating the Benefits of Your Organization will be focused on the evaluation of Electronic Medical Records for use in specific practices, and the ways in which these EMRs can be customized.
St Louis, MO, June 29, 2010 — At the Upcoming U.S. Psychiatric and Mental Health Congress, BHM’s President will present Brian Johnson, SVP VP of Finance and Claims Operations, informative session on Electronic Medical Records. The sesion is entitled EMR Incorporation: Evaluating the Benefits for Your Organization. The Conference which will be held November 18th through the 21st at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center in Orlando, Fl will be providing attendees with evidence-based, clinically relevant information and tools to incorporation into practice. The theme for this U.S. Psychiatric and Mental Health Congress will be “Advancing Care, Improving Outcomes.”
Mr. Johnson, a financial analysis expert from BHM, an expert healthcare consulting firm, will be focusing on providing important information to psychiatrist, primary care physicians, psychiatric nurses, psychologists, and other health care professionals about Electronic Medical Records. His presentation will specifically feature the vast benefits of conversion from standard paper records to EMRs. Many healthcare facilities have been making a move toward EMRs for some time, but the transition can prove to be a difficult one. A key to successful integration is knowing how to properly customize EMRs for the intended organization. This session will help clinicians evaluate which EMR structure will best meet the objectives of their organization, as well as how to incorporate them into their practice as fluidly as possible.
Upon completion of this educational session healthcare professionals will be able to evaluate the pros and cons of various EMRs and whether or not EMRs make sense for their practice. There will also be a summarization of the importance for staff buy in and how to specifically customize EMRs for various practices. Finally attendees will learn how to identify key components for the fluid incorporation of EMRs into practice.
