The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is one of the hottest BlackBerry smartphones available to date. It features the trademark QWERTY keyboard that has made RIM devices so popular, this time in a slide-out form factor. Differing slightly from other Blackberry handsets, the Torch 9800 also has a touchscreen, measuring 3.2-inches across.
It is not just the form factor that has made BlackBerry phones so popular, but also the operating system. The BB Torch comes with Blackberry OS 6, the latest version of a platform that is famed for its multi-tasking capabilities and ease of use. Of course, no RIM smartphone would be complete without free access to BlackBerry Messenger, which is of course present in the Blackberry 9800.
So what else does the Torch have to offer? There’s integration to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as enhanced web-browsing functions. If you want to find something quickly, use the Universal Search feature that comes with the BB 9800. From the homescreen, type in a keyword to search through email, messages, contacts, media or the web.
As the flagship handset of the BlackBerry range, the BB Torch also offers a strong set of hardware features. These include a 5 Megapixel Camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and the ability to tether the device as a modem. This superb smartphone from BlackBerry is not only perfect for the business user, but anyone who sends a lot of texts, emails and messages.
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 and official BlackBerry Torch 9800 accessories are now in stock at Clove Technology.
