Boiler Replacement and Boiler Problems – Join the Boiler Scrappage Scheme

B

HEEP is a Government-funded and council-approved scheme made up of fifteen local authorities – Brentwood, Broxbourne, Chelmsford, Dacorum, East Herts, Epping Forest, Harlow, Hertsmere, North Herts, St Albans, Stevenage, Three Rivers, Uttlesford, Watford and Welwyn Hatfield. These local authorities are working together to tackle fuel poverty and help improve energy efficiency in homes across Hertfordshire and Essex.

Home owners with a working gas boiler 20 years or older and in receipt of a qualifying means tested benefit may be eligible for 100% grant towards a new A rated boiler.

Replacing your old G rated boiler with a new A rated condensing boiler and a full set of heating controls could save you on your heating bills.
Even if your property is fully insulated there are other ways in which to reduce your energy use and save even more money.
Your Local Authority is making grants and loans available to assist you in your own household.

Only appointed contractors on the scheme (please see list below) can carry out work under the scheme, including work eligible for a 50% grant, subject to council approval
Residents can contact one of our qualified advisors to discuss their individual circumstances and check eligibility.

Renewable energy is energy generated from natural resources—such as sunlight, wind, tides, and geothermal heat — which are renewable and naturally replenished.

Low carbon energy is not renewable but is significantly less carbon intensive than conventional technologies. Heat pumps are an example of a ‘low carbon’ technology.

All enquiries and applications can be made on freephone number 0800 980 6026 quoting reference HEEP11. Our website is also available at www.heepgrant.org
