From 2nd to 6th April the company takes part in the International Wine and Spirits Exhibition in Verona. In pavilion F Enolitech at stand G2, new products unveiled for spring 2009 will include two new wine glasses of the Premium range: Montepulciano and Rosè.

“Three cheers for sparkling wine in a sparkling glass… Three cheers for genuine wine, which gladdens every thought”. Giovanni Targioni-Tozzetti and Guido Menasci certainly didn’t have Vinitaly in mind when they penned the libretto Cavalleria Rusticana. And yet the verses of this famous aria seem written precisely to describe the passion and enthusiasm that animates the International Wine and Spirits Exhibition, which takes place from 2nd to 6th April in Verona.

For over 40 years the renowned meeting has been celebrating the culture of fine wine and spirits. This year’s edition in particular is dedicated to “the world we love”. Bormioli Rocco, too, is part of this world of traditions, quality and challenges and helps preserve the values of the “Made in Italy” label, thanks to products that combine exquisite style, functional design, research into materials and technological innovation.

New products on show at the G2 stand include the new wine glasses of the Premium range: Montepulciano and Rosè. The former is dedicated to all those who love this great Tuscan red, while the Rosè glass was designed in response to the growing popularity of rosé wines in Italy and abroad. The collection, created in collaboration with the Italian Association of Sommeliers, has thus been boosted, offering sector professionals an even more comprehensive range.

The shape and size of these wine tasting glasses are designed to enhance the organoleptic characteristics of reds and whites. In addition, the Premium range combines practical, lightweight design and strength with all the brilliance of crystal, thanks to the special chemical composition of the fine crystal glass.
Bormioli Rocco pays tribute to wine and its long history with a series of wine glasses that raise wine tasting to an art.
