Geeks-In-Route was founded in 2004, and has been growing ever since. In the past two years, during a time when many businesses were going out of business, and most were experiencing dramatic down turns, they were experiencing an average of 412% per year growth, and are now stronger than ever.
The management team at Geeks-In-Route attributes this growth to their strong since of customer service, and there untraditional business concepts. “Why use the same old concepts that everyone else who is going out of business is using. Obviously it’s not working for them, now is it?” say Austin Whitten, President/CEO of Geeks-In-Route.
As a result of these untraditional business concepts, Geeks-In-Route’s growth is steadily creating more and more jobs for people all over the country. These are not the traditional jobs that people are used to working, and do not work out for some, but the people who have embraced there concepts are really thriving, and making a pretty good living working right from the comfort of their own homes.
The owners of Geeks-In-Route do not believe in bricks and mortar, and do not believe in hiring people who do not want to work for their money, thus all of their employees are on a pay for performance basis. In following these concepts, their overhead fluctuates with business. Subsequently, they really cannot lose money, and thus can afford to pay their employees what they are really worth. The employees have no set schedules, and no caps on how much they can make. You’re probably thinking that they are crazy at this point. After all, how can they possibly maintain the coverage that they need when they need it? I thought the same thing until I spoke with a few of the employees.
Even though this is quickly becoming a very large corporation, when you talk to the employees, it’s much more like a family, than a business. Everyone is so happy with what they do, and actually seem like they can’t wait to go to work every day. They all know their positions, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. If someone is not in one day, the others do not need to be asked to pick up the slack, they just do it. It’s really very refreshing to watch it all in action.
In the midst of running a very busy company, the Geeks-In-Route management team still finds time to come up with new and innovative ways to build business, and continues to create new jobs all over the country.
