Sapphire Systems will be demonstrating a fast and effective budgeting and forecasting solution – without the use of spreadsheets – at two forthcoming events specifically for the housing sector.
It is widely accepted that many organisations within the housing sector use spreadsheets to budget, plan and forecast as it is the easy option. But is that really the case? There are inherent weaknesses and flaws when it comes to budgeting and planning with spreadsheets; these issues will be addressed at the morning events (start time is 9am, ending with an optional question and answer session at 11am).
Delegates will be introduced to the CorVu suite of solutions, as used by The Peabody Trust. The solution is being well received by many organisations with a particular focus on Housing Associations. During the sessions the software will be shown in action demonstrating how, through the use of web based forms, it is possible to create budget templates that can be published directly to managers within an organisation to be completed. The application comes with full workflow and authorisation capabilities which allows users to manage the budgeting process swiftly, efficiently and accurately.
David Singh, Director at Sapphire, commented, “This is a must attend event for all finance professionals that would like to learn more about an affordable alternative to using spreadsheets for budgeting and forecasting requirements. At Sapphire we work with a number of Housing Associations and Registered Social Landlords; a theme that we have seen emerging more and more from this sector is the desire to continuously improve operational efficiency and make optimum use of resources. It is our aim to facilitate this initiative and we hope to see both customers and other interested housing professionals in either London or Manchester.”
Event dates:
– Thursday 29th April Manchester
– Wednesday 5th May London
