Newport News, Virginia – March 10, 2011 – Burlington Medical Supplies, headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, is proud to announce Heidi Byrom as its new account executive for sales in Texas. Byrom will expand the medical, dental and veterinarian markets and assist to launch the manufacturer’s new products.

Byrom brings to Burlington an excellent track record of achievement in growing revenue, most recently as a relationship manager and loan officer with Texas AgFinance. There, she worked a highly competitive five-county territory in the San Antonio area, with a $76 million portfolio. Byrom ranked second in company sales for the first six months of 2010, generating 7.2 million in sales, or 20%, out of the total 33.7 million.
Byrom holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Life Sciences in Agricultural Economics with an emphasis in rural entrepreneurship from Texas A&M University. She has been active in several professional organizations and currently is a member of the Bexar County Medical Society.
