This retailer began selling the Mini Eco-i-Lite in 2009 with great success and ordered its second item, the Mini C-Lite in September 2010. Now the retailer has added a third item, Capstone’s newest product, the eBook•Lite.
The eBook•Lite includes the following features:

The eBook•Lite was launched at the March 2010 International Home and Housewares Show and is currently sold in the electronics department of a national discount retailer. eReader sales in 2009 were estimated at 3,750,000 units and sales are expected to reach 11,000,000 units in 2010. The product addresses the lighting issues with eReaders in the dark and allows readers to read in bed, on aircraft or any other dimly lit environment. Most eReaders do not provide a backlit display (the top brands all use “e-ink”), which makes them hard to read in the dark. With the eBook•Lite, eReaders receive a cool and long lasting luminosity from 3 LEDs, preventing eye strain. Other available accessory lights require constant adjustment and re-positioning, as their grip is usually unfit for eReaders.
