Capstone to Unveil Female Friendly Lighting Products
New Diva Collection of Lighted Compact Mirror/Purse Lights Adds Gentle but Powerful Touch to 2010 International Home & Housewares Show
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL, February 15, 2010 – Created with a “pink twist” in mind, these female friendly lighting products will be displayed by Capstone Industries, Inc. at the 2010 International Home & Housewares Show, March 14-16, at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.
Women everywhere often face situations while ‘on the go’ where simple tasks such as retouching make-up, finding a cell phone in a large handbag, applying nail polish, or merely catching up on reading (yes reading!) become challenging due to the lack of uncomplicated and lightweight solutions. “These needs were exactly what drove us to develop two female-friendly products that are creative and practical approaches to solving these issues,” affirms Reid Goldstein, President of Capstone Industries.
With a polished and refined exterior, Diva is shaped as a compact case, hosting a rotating mirror and an adjustable lighthead with 4 bright LEDs that are always cool to the touch. Because the LEDs fold to the outside of the product in its original compact position, and the power switch is located externally, Diva may be used as a purse light and a menu light. The product also features a sturdy clip-on free-standing base that holds pages in place for an improved reading experience.
Manicure Light features a choice of 12 or 20 super bright LEDs and a malleable neck that helps direct the light wherever needed. The enhanced assistance of a clip-on magnifying glass is what makes this product so versatile and ideal for manicure purposes. “Our research shows that the female audience has a growing interest in our lighting products. So it was definitely time to create something more appealing and especially tailored to them. Manicure Light offers a cost-effective and smart alternative to frequently visiting nail salons and also provides multi-functionality in the household. This product is perfect for women who are multi-taskers,” adds Goldstein.
Along with other new and exciting products, Capstone will officially launch the new Diva and Manicure Light at the upcoming 2010 International Home & Housewares Show, at booth 8448 at the Clean & Contain Expo in the North Building.
