My loved ones decided to visit Europe if we found out my sister was chosen to take a trip to France to the World Cup in ’08 with DriveAway Holidays, sponsored by Peugeot. We thought we could join her in Italy – I can’t let my sister have each of the fun now can We? I have to declare the flight felt like it was never going to finish and was very exhausting, but when we finally arrived in Rome we were most excited again. We collected our car from Rome Fiumicino Airport and also the Europcar depot was very easily found with numerous signs pointing us inside the right direction. After the papers were being signed and completed, we found our vehicle and our surprise we were upgraded to some sporty Alfa Romeo Train station Wagon so we were ready to drive in luxury like Italians in our Italian car. Our confidence was knocked slightly though when we struggled attempting to find our way out with the parking lot! Who would have thought it would be so complicated? Luckily we hired this Seymour GPS which definitely saved time and fights! The GPS made your driving and traveling a lot smoother and more simple, which is exactly what you require on a holiday. Rome was truly spectacular with lots of historical attractions and museums to go to. My sister got engaged from the St Pietro Cathedral while we are there which made the trip even more special. It was very loving and sure did bring tears to my little brown eyes!

My favourite attraction within Rome was the Trevi feature. The tradition is to be able to toss a coin in the fountain to produce a wish, and then toss a second coin to one day get back to Italy. Hope it works! From Rome we went to Naples and with the help of our GPS, driving wasn’t as hard even as we first thought. Soon we were used to the crazy speeds about the motorways and driving on the wrong side of the road, it all didn’t look so strange anymore. In Naples we scheduled the Amalfi Coast tour and also the views were truly gorgeous. In Positano, we sampled the strong taste in the famous Italian liquor Limoncelo plus some mouth watering local goodies. From Naples we drove through to Milan for an overnight stay and continued to Florence. Florence was remarkable in addition to we were all amazed at the famous artworks. I studied these works in school so it was very amazing to stand right looking at them. I absolutely loved Michelangelo’s Mark statue, if I had the prospect I would have stared at everything day! Our car rental experience ended in Venice in the Pizzale Roma near the actual ferry terminal. After all our buying, our luggage seemed a whole lot heavier than we expected but we was able to drag them along. Venice was my favourite set up Italy. Ancient buildings built along with water, it was so distinctive and wonderful. We had the possiblity to take a ride within the gondolas through the canals and beneath the bridges and we chose the perfect timing as it absolutely was sunset. Our hotel was right beside Louis Vuitton and Prada so we did a lot of window shopping! After Venice we scheduled a flight to Rome. The Eiffel Tower was our favourite attraction and when we reached the top, there were amazing views of the city. Although it was very crowded with tourists a result of the World Cup, it was definitely worth it, we were so overwhelmed while using the views that the throngs of people didn’t really bother you.

At night the Eiffel Podium lit up with lazer light shows and from the colours of the World Cup winner, South Africa, which was pretty amazing. The car rental with Italy gave us the particular freedom to explore quite a few townsa and hidden jewels between our destinations. It was sheer pleasure driving an extravagance car in Italy with the help of our handy little pal the Seymour GPS. I highly recommend an automobile hire and GPS system to anyone traveling in another country. This was a family holiday which was exhausting with the quite a few attractions we saw in a limited time, but it was a beautiful experience, one I hope My business is able to experience once more
