Dr. Reece W. Manley, DD, M.Ed., MPM, has reached out to the YMCA for endorsement of his book Crossing Twice, specifically seeking to have the book marketed to teenage Christians.
Dallas, Texas October 15, 2009 — “Crossing Twice is a big dose of reality in what not to do with your life,” says Rick Setter, Director of Advocate USA Publishing. “We really want to put this book into the hands of Christian youth as a book to show not only what awaits us on the other side, but what awaits us in this life if we embrace the path of love Christ showed us.”
Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source has already garnered one Christian Book of the Year award and is now being co-marketed with Spirit Thinking: Your 30 Day Guide to Enlightenment for the Christian self help market. “Of the two books, teenage Christian youth are more likely to get more from Crossing Twice with its real life themes and situations, “ says Setter.
Parents may wish to proceed with caution, though. Because of the rough times Dr. Manley has endured some parts of this book will be hard for teenage Christian readers to reconcile with what goes on in a God-filled household. But, with family guidance, Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source stands to be a great teenage Christian book.
To take it to the next level, Advocate USA has contacted the YMCA to make the book available on a donation basis at YMCA libraries and youth centers. “We look forward to our ongoing work with the YMCA and their mission and values which match our own,” says Setter.
