ClickCulture Creates Blog for North Carolina Symphony
New Feature Engages Patrons in Conversation

RALEIGH, N.C. (April 16, 2009)—ClickCulture Inc. (www.clickculture.com), a Raleigh-based Web technologies, design and integrated marketing firm, announces today the addition of a blog to the North Carolina Symphony Web site (www.ncsymphony.org/blog/). The platform provides interactive ways for the symphony to engage its supporters, members and the community.

“ClickCulture has done a fantastic job with the symphony’s Web site,” says Jeannie Mellinger, director of communications for the North Carolina Symphony. “The new blog feature is a hit with our patrons who wish to learn more about our music and gain an inside perspective on the arts community.”

ClickCulture has been the webmaster for the North Carolina Symphony Web site for seven years. More than just an informational site, the symphony’s Web site includes: podcast interviews with guest performers, educational resources, secure online CD and donation stores, a Ticketmaster® interface and a portal for season ticket holders.

“Adding the blog component to this dynamic site enhances the visitor’s experience,” says Lloyd Jacobs, CEO of ClickCulture. “The blog provides new ways for symphony members to connect with their audience and gives patrons a new reason to visit the site regularly.”

In the first twenty days the blog has been live, principal trumpeter Paul Randall, composer Dr. J. Mark Scearce, as well as president and CEO David Chambless Worters have made posts. Individual blog topics have received more than 1,700 views combined, indicating how important blogs are in communicating with target audiences.
