The Coho Oceanfront Lodge owned by the Lee family of Lincoln City, is generously offering temporary accommodation for Aumsville residents effected by last December’s tornado and while rebuilding continues.
The Lee family is offering residents one free night at the Hotel and ten residents have already received their certificates after gratefully accepting the offer.
In an open letter to Aumsville residents co-owner Rob Lee said, “It is times like this when it is important for neighbors and businesses (near and far) to reach out to extend support. There may come a point in the coming weeks where you simply need to get away.”

The Lee family’s second hotel is the Inn at Wecoma where exciting renovations are taking place.
Beautiful pillows adorn white adirondack chairs which have now replaced the old chairs while triple sheeting with duvet blanks will be in place of the former comforters. “Beautiful artistic photography now adorns wall ledge shelving in the rooms, and all valances were replaced with modern and sleek contemporary valances. All of our deluxe rooms now include flat screen TVs and DVD players,” General Manager Russ Olivier stated.
Olivier added “When renovating the lobby, contemporary shelving was installed and historical pictures, postcards and local art were used to fill them.” A flat screen TV is now above the fireplace which displays video and historical photos as well as other intriguing lighting effects.
“We also dressed up the main hotel’s canopy structure by adding skirts to the canopy’s metal columns,” Olivier said. “The exterior was then treated to a fresh coat of paint to change the colors and decorative flags are now displayed on three new flag poles near the hotel’s main entrance. After the main exterior projects were completed, the focus turned to the interior which included the guest rooms, lobby and breakfast room.”
Olivier said their aim was to focus on the historical aspects of the Wecoma locale, which included Lincoln City and other nearby smaller villages that incorporated into one larger town in 1964.
