OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. – June 18, 2011 – After a successful day of business and networking, ColorTyme Summer Meeting attendees spent a day of fun, enjoying golf in Lake Tahoe and a day outing to the historic town of Truckee, Calif.

Named after the founder of ColorTyme, the Willie Talley Golf Tournament is a tradition at every ColorTyme Summer Meeting. This year, 10 teams made up of employees, franchisees, vendors and family members played within the beautiful setting of the Coyote Moon golf course. Players on the winning team were Eddie Edwards, Mike Woods, Steve Dwyer and Woody Webb, Jr.

Attendees who did not golf took a ride into downtown Truckee to explore and shop in the area famous for its history including the Donner Party, the building of the railroads, the logging industry and ice harvesting.
“I enjoyed Truckee immensely. The town has so many unique stores and restaurants to discover,“ said Lisa Gavidia, ColorTyme owner in Gainesville, Fla. “It was nice to spend the afternoon in a place that offers so much history and natural beauty.”

For lunch, the outing group met for classic comfort food at JAX at the Tracks, a diner featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives program. Before returning to the Resort at Squaw Creek, the group took a trip to Donner Pass and Donner Lake located in the northern Sierra Nevada Mountains.
