Manchester based solutions specialist, ConvergeOne, has scored a contract working with The Football League.
Manchester, UK, March 31, 2011 — A Cisco Premier Partner, ConvergeOne recommended a solution based on Cisco’s Smart Business Architecture, enabling The Football League to take advantage of cost savings and benefits associated with implementing a borderless network and fully converged communications.
The Football League was established in 1888 and has 72 member clubs. It is responsible for administering and regulating the npower Football League, Carling Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy. IT Manager Richard Slater who is based at their operations center said “Our requirement was for a modern network capable of supporting both data and voice applications. ConvergeOne recommended a robust platform in Cisco’s SBA.”
The core infrastructure included a Cisco Borderless Network and 7950 and 2960 switches, all backed up and supported by ConvergeOne pre- and post-professional services support team.
ConvergeOne’s Cisco-based solution will enable The Football League to take advantage of cost savings associated with a fully converged system.
